2 hour TWOFOLD BAY DISCOVERY CRUISE
These cruises operate all year and are also ideal for coach groups. Relax as Cat Balou cruises the two folds of Twofold Bay which covers an area of 30 square kilometres. Surrounded by the Ben Boyd National Park and state forest, stunning scenery and pristine bays and beaches are viewed as Cat Balou cruises around this deep water port. The cruise highlights the history of this whaling port including Boyd's Tower, Seahorse Inn at Boydtown, Edrom Lodge and whaling station sites. The naval/multi purpose wharf which is also used by visiting cruise ships, woodchip mill, mussel farms and large fishing fleet are also viewed. On most trips Cat Balou encounters dolphins or seals. This cruise stays within Twofold Bay. Morning/afternoon tea is included.

WHALE WATCHING CRUISES
Whale watching cruises commence mid September and operate each morning until late November. Duration approximately 3 ½ hours.
At this time of the year majestic Humpback whales frequent the waters just off the coast at Eden , at times coming into Twofold Bay on their southern migration. Other species of whales that also visit this area include Southern Right, Minke, Blue, Bryde's and Orca. Most years whales can be observed lateral lunge feeding - one of the few places in the world this can be seen!
Other sea life frequently seen are Common & Bottlenose Dolphins, Australian Fur Seals, penguins, flying fish and at times sunfish and turtles.
Bird life includes many species of sea birds - albatross, shearwaters, sea eagles and gannets to name a few.
Complimentary refreshments including hot soup is served.
Bonus Twofold Bay Discovery cruise is incorporated in the whale watch.
