It was a grey day on the water but conditions were calm. Cat Balou found a pod of 2 adults who were not wasting time heading to Antarctica and later had a number of close encounters from a pod of four adults. Later a mother & calf were seen near Leonard’s Island with a few peduncle throws from the calf.
Common dolphins provided entertainment on several occasions. Passengers also enjoyed watching a Sea Eagle hover above Cat Balou.

We also heard singing when we put the hydrophone in.
Coach groups on two later bay cruises also sighed mother/calf pods and Bottlenose dolphins.
