Heading out on our Coastal Wilderness-Whale Search cruise this morning we found a couple of small pods of common dolphins as well as an albatross. We also spotted what we think may have been a False Killer Whale. We only got a glimpse of it in close to the boat so we couldn’t say for certain. Heading north east of Boyd’s Tower we came across multiple pods of Humpback Whales approx. 12 in total.

With sighting of multiple pods from shore this morning we headed straight out to the middle of the bay and travelled towards North head. We had amazing numbers of whale sightings today seeing between 15 and 20 whales lunge feeding just south of Mew stone, with more pods of whales out just a bit further. Heading back towards Boyd’s Tower we spotted another two pods of whales cruising along. Great Whales – Great Day!

We had an inquisitive whale come in close to the boat today with another putting on a great display of tail slapping. Approx 8 Humpback Whales (3-4 pods) sighted this morning.

Windy conditions out on the water today but they whales came out to play. More great sightings of 5 Humpback Whales who entertained us with some awesome breaches and pec slapping.

We took a detour from our Twofold Bay Discovery cruise this afternoon travelling east of Boyd’s Tower to see three pods of Humpback Whales (approx. 8 whales). They were very active with multiple breaches as well as tail and pectoral slapping. They certainly put on a great show for us today.

A beautiful morning out on the water today and we didn’t have to go far before we came across an active Humpback Whale. We were privileged to see a couple of breaches, pectoral slapping and a spy hop. We also had a large pod of common dolphins feeding and playing all around us at the time.

On this mornings Coastal Wilderness-Whale Search cruise we sighted multiple pods of Common Dolphins then as we headed home we across 2 pods of Humpback whales (4) just south of Boyd’s Tower on South Head. They were quite active with a couple of breaches and a few tail slaps.

This morning we spotted 1 Humpback on its own just off Boyd’s Tower, we then travelled north and came across another 2 in the middle of the bay. We also saw Seals – one was very active playing in the wake behind the boat and another rafted up in the water off the Lookout we also spotted a few Albatross today.

A sunny winters morning for our Coastal Wilderness-Whale Search cruise today. We got a great look at 10 Humpback Whales making their way north in lovely conditions.

Calm conditions this morning on our Coastal Wilderness-Whale Search cruise and we got a great look at 2 pods of Humpback Whales making their way north. We also saw dolphins, sea eagles and albatross.
