Refunds & Cancellations

Cat Balou Cruises handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

All cruises are subject to weather and passenger numbers.  If for any reason such as bad weather, vessel breakdown or other unforeseen issues, a cruise is cancelled, Cat Balou Cruises will offer to rebook those tickets on another cruise of the same value for later date or will provide a full refund.

Tickets purchased via an agent or third party are subject to the agent or third parties terms of purchase.

Refunds will be processed promptly and payment made by the same method that you made payment.  All refunds are made at the discretion of Cat Balou Cruises.

Cancellation Policy

The following applies to all tickets purchased direct from Cat Balou Cruises:

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking departure or failure to board will receive no refund.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations more than 48 hours prior to the booking departure receive a refund of 80%.
  • There is no refund for Gift Vouchers purchased and Gift Cards expire 3 years from the date of purchase
