Our first sighting this morning was a mother & calf Bryde’s whale in Twofold Bay. After leaving them we headed east finding a few quiet pods of adults. Strangely no mother/calf pods were sighted today.
Near Leonard’s Island a single sub adult spent time on the surface pec slapping and one spectacular breach.
The later trip found a competition/heat pod near North Head with at least six adults heading south at 10 knots.
Dolphins were sighted on both trips.
